Position description
As the O&M Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the service and maintenance operations (O&M) of the biogas plant. Your primary duties will include supervising daily operations, maintaining infrastructure, managing personnel, and ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards. You will collaborate with a team of engineers, technicians, and service workers to ensure the efficient functioning of the biogas plant. Employment will start from the beginning of construction (June-July 2024).
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with and support management on all current biogas plant matters.
2. Coordinate Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities, particularly: scheduling measurements, inspections, services, preparing O&M reports, and other tasks to ensure continuity, performance, and optimization of production processes.
3. Develop the organization's budget for technical equipment.
4. Represent the organization externally.
5. Supervise technical documentation and infrastructure, and manage the machinery park.
6. Plan and supervise ongoing repairs, inspections, and maintenance of machinery and equipment, as well as building and installation inspections and repairs.
7. Prepare annual service plans and schedules.
8. Supervise contracts, deliveries, and the quality of substrate and digestate.
9. Negotiate and sign service contracts.
10. Organize team work by implementing appropriate structures and processes, ensuring effective management.
11. Manage subordinate staff, including motivating, training, and supervising the development of technical department employees.
12. Ensure a safe working environment for the subordinate team, compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, fire protection, and environmental protection.
13. Recruit operational staff for the biogas plant and verify the quality of their work.
Requirements:
Experience (approx. 5 years) in managing biogas plants, technical installations, factories, or combined heat and power plants.
Technical/electrical education (emphasis on experience),
SEP authorization,
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Teams),
Category B driving license,
Availability for business trips,
English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
Ability to think analytically and make decisions in a dynamic work environment.
Ability to work under time pressure and problem-solving skills.
